    CLOS BASTE

Chantal and Philippe Mur define themselves as artisan winegrowers.
For them, it is a lifestyle choice more than a professional activity.

They produce well-built wines, based on the quality of fruit from clean, voluntary and attentive farming.
From the vine to the grape must, so many stages, so many choices, where intuition and above all "terroir spirit" prevail over technology and scientific certainty.

In 1998, they acquired an old building with character, in ruins, the Maison Basté, which they restored and revived.
Certified in organic farming since 2008, the estate covers 10 hectares, 7 in red wines and 3 in white wines (AOC Madiran, AOC Pacherenc de Vic Bilh and IGP Bigorre).
